Vivitone Blue Powder Bleach, 17.5 oz.

• Can be used with 10,20,30,40 volume, depending on the amount of desired lift.
• Timing varies from 20 to 45 minutes.  Applying heat will speed up the lightening process (if necessary, use low heat. 10 or 20 volume only).  No heat can be used with bleach is applied to the scalp area.

Bleaching Technique

Pre-lightening is the technique used to create a lighter suitable level for the lighter hair color desired.  It is necessary when working outside the safety range.  For example: if a light copper blonde is desired on natural level 3, hair would need to be pre-lightened and light copper blonde applied to get the result.

Double process is a two-step process of lightening and toning that is utilized when the target shade is 5-6 levels lighter than the natural level.  More than 6 levels of lift are required.  For example: the target shade was platinum blonde on a natural level 5, the hair needs to be lightened to pale yellow and a toner should be used to neutralize the remaining dominant pigment. 

Mixing:

 1 part Vivitone blue powder bleach with 2 parts oxy-activator (developer) in a non-metallic bowl and mix until obtaining a rich creamy texture that can be easily applied

Application:

Gently apply to dry hair.

Rinsing:

Rinse hair thoroughly at the end of the development time.  Finish by shampooing hair with MENDER Reparative Shampoo.  Foloow with Mender Intensive Treatment (Leave on 2-3 minutes) and rinse.
