I've never heard of AVEYOU beauty before so I was a little wary of ordering from them, but they are definitely legit! It all began with a gift between two friends. A homemade body scrub given as a Christmas present launched the idea, and Splurge Skincare was born. We are both self described “product junkies” who are always searching for the next best thing. We try it all, from high end department store lines to obscure boutique finds, and everything in between. When the idea of creating our own line came up, we knew right away that there were two things we wouldn’t compromise on. First and foremost, our products had to perform. If they didn’t work, we wouldn’t sell them. Second, our products had to be natural and free of harmful toxins and chemicals that could damage both our skin and our health. We were convinced that we could create products that not only worked better than anything else we had tried, but were also all natural.
Since we are both teachers, we spent many hours after work and on weekends researching and testing, and then researching and testing some more. We gave samples to friends who graciously provided us with detailed and honest feedback. While we were finally satisfied with our creations, we were still unsure of the name. Our philosophy was simple: People shouldn’t wait for a special occasion to treat themselves well, it should be something they did everyday. Our hope was that our products helped people to do just that. So what to call it? Splurge. So don’t wait for a special occasion to indulge, splurge on yourself today!
